We have visited Romania many times since 1982 and have enjoyed every holiday immensely. The hospitality and friendliness of the people made a great impression on us. The splendour of the scenery and the majesty of the architecture all combined to make each visit memorable. Highlights of our visits included a visit to Transylvania, the legendary haunt of Count Dracula, a guided tour of the overpowering "Parliament Palace" - a must to visit on a tour of Bucharest. Many lazy days spent swimming and sunbathing on the Black Sea Coast. An unforgettable visit to The Danube Delta marvelling at the profusion of bird life and other wild animals, and a wonderful 50th birthday spent in the mountain resort of Predeal.
