Good shopping is mainly concentrated in the new Malls (Orhideea, Feeria, City Mall, Plaza Romania, Bucuresti) and Unirea Shopping Centre, situated in the very centre of the town. Try the Romanian designers and fashion brands (Luca, Dada, Tina R and others). High fashion is readily available in brand shops concentrated on Calea Victoriei, Magheru and Balcescu boulevards, at prices you are used to at home.

There are plenty of places to buy souvenirs, and if that special someone is demanding you bring back something Romanian, here are a few ideas:
