Programme
Day 1
Departure from your hotel in the the morning. Stop over in Sinaia - visit of the Peles Castle and of the Monastery. Continue to Brasov - sight seeing tour of the Medieval centre of the town. On to Sighisoara. Accomodation in a 3* hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, departure to Biertan. Visit of its strong fortress (16th century) and of the Evangelical Church (1429-1516), representative monument for late gothic style. Continue to Sibiu - visit of the medieval centre and of the Brukenthal Museum. Back to Sigisoara. Visit of the Medieval Town including the House where Vlad Tepes (Dracula) was born. Accommodation.
Day 3
Breakfast and departure to Bran - visit of the Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle). Continue through the magnificent Rucar Pass to Targoviste - former capital city of Valahia (the South part of Romania) during Vlad Tepes's reign. Late afternoon- arrival in Bucharest. End of services.
Departure dates
The tour starts from Bucharest upon request, from March till November. Please note that Bran Castle is closed on Monday. Peles castle is closed on Monday from May 19th till September 13th and on Tuesday also for the rest of the period.
