Wine is a very important part of Romanians life. It comes from the mist of times, with legend and enchantment.

The tour will include wine testing in some of the most famous vineyards in Romania: Valea Calugareasca, Cotnari, Jidvei - Cetatea de Balta, Panciu, Murflatar and Pietroasa.

The tour includes also some major tourist attractions of Romania:

• The Peles Castle
• The fortified Saxon stone church in Biertan, included in the patrimonies of UNESCO, nowadays an evangelic episcopacy
• The medieval city of Sighisoara (the Fortress) including the house where Vlad Tepes was born (situated in the heart of the old town, included in patrimonies of UNESCO)
• The impressive and breath taking Bicaz Gorges
• The Neamt Monastery the largest men's monastery in Romania
• The Trei Ierarhi Church in Iasi - a lace in stone
• A trip by boat to the Danube Delta - a realm of wild life and unspoiled nature

• Day 1 -Departure from your hotel in Bucharest in the morning (around 9 a.m.). Panoramic s/s tour of Bucharest. Departure for Ploiesti. Continue to Boldesti-Scaieni for lunch and wine testing in the region of Valea Calugareasca. Departure to Sinaia - visit of the Peles Castle. Departure to Brasov. Dinner and accommodation in Brasov.
• Day 2 - After breakfast, departure to Biertan - visit of the church. Departure to Cetatea de Balta - Jidvei for lunch and wine testing. In the afternoon - visit of the Old town of Sighisoara. Dinner & acc in Sighisoara/ Albesti.
• Day 3 - Departure from Sighisoara through the picturesque Bicaz Gorges to Piatra Neamt. Lunch. After lunch - visit of the Neamt Monastery. Departure to Iasi. Dinner and wine testing in Cotnari. Acc in Iasi.
• Day 4 - Sight seeing tour of Iasi, on foot, including the "Trei Ierarhi" Church and the Metropolitan Ortodox Cathedral. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Departure for Piatra Neamt- dinner & acc.
• Day 5 - Departure to Panciu for lunch and wine testing. Continue to Galati for dinner & acc.
• Day 6 - From Galati to Tulcea for a day trip with lunch on board in the Danube Delta. Dinner & acc in Tulcea.
• Day 7 - Departure from Tulcea. Stop over in Constanta. Lunch and wine testing in Murflatar. Dinner & acc in Slobozia.
• Day 8 - Departure to Buzau for a visit with lunch and wine testing in the vineyard of Pietroasa. Continue to Bucharest. In the evening, arrival in Bucharest. End of the tour Bucharest.
